What this does not change

Commissions never influence our rankings or scores. No brand can pay for a higher position, a better rating, or favorable coverage. Our reviews are scored on a fixed 100-point rubric, and the number you see is the one our scoring produced. You can read exactly how we score on our about page.

Independence first

If a product is the best option, we will say so whether or not there is a commission attached. If it is not, no amount of commission will move it up the list.
